Welcome to the Chicago Beer Pass: Your ticket to all the great beer events happening in and around Chicago.
On this weeks episode Brad Chmielewski & Nik White open a couple bottles of Lagunitas IPA. Now the brewery is open and brewing in Chicago we can now consider this a local beer. This past weekend Brad made it over to Atlas Brewery for the Raspberry Brown Saison Release; a collaboration with Atlas & Une Annee. The beer is tasting great and worth a visit for a test. Over the weekend Nik made it to Lincoln Square for the Square Roots Festival. Nik shares what made this more then a typically neighborhood festival and more of a beer fest.
This weekend it’s likely many of you are busy with the Pitchfork music festival but if not we’ve got a couple other events for you to check out. Saturday in the suburbs is Naperville Ale Fest, it’s $45 for general Admission and isn’t far from the train station. Also outside the city limits is Milwaukee Firkin Fest. This is always a great festival and everyone we’ve known that has gone as had a blast. Finally Saturday night at Reggies is the Pancakes & Booze Art Show where you can drink and get all you can eat pancakes.
All that and more on this weeks episode of Chicago Beer Pass. Enjoy your week! Cheers!
